toast has to be toasted...no matter how :D
lil' Brianna... Where did she get her attitude from?
Obviously from her big sister Leslie.
Never seen a kid expressing herself so clearly and maturely

Now I've been here in Kenya for five days and it just feels awesome to be back!

It's so gorgeous to come to another country and everything you need to feel home is there.
I already met all my closest relatives & friends here, went for partying (even to the Casino for the first time :D) and of cooourse shopping.

People haven't forgotten me...

Things I misremembered about Kenya or I've learned in the last days:

- it's dusty as hell! I can't understand why people don't were sunglasses that much..?

- it's LOUD! It doesn't matter if you're in Tao (town), with the family or in a Mat - it's always noisy!

- Kenyans love to party! For example: The Matatus (Kleinbusse) now do not only have speakers some do even have a TV in front so you can watch the videoclips to the music they're playing :D

- it's cheap - according to the western standards...
 E.g.:
- food (Chips 70 Ksh/~70Ct., Soda 30Ksh)
- a single cigarette 5-7 Ksh, a packet 90-140 Ksh
- 200 Sms (Safaricom) 10 Ksh
- Earrings 50 Ksh
- anti-baby-pill 150 Ksh (< > Germany ~45€/4600 Ksh)
- Public transport/Matatus, mostly 10-100 Ksh (depending on where you're going/coming)
- Hairwash + straightening 150 Ksh

- People are friendly. You ALWAYS get introduced, it doesn't matter how long you're gonna be with this people. Even Cashiers in the supermarket ask you how you are.

- Guys aren't afraid to be honest and direct... it can get annoying very fast...

- BabyboOoOoOooom! Everywhere you go..

- Cockroaches, Spiders & Mosquitos... I really underestimated those animals... Oo

Last but not least the most important thing about Kenyan life:

Peleka mos mos!
(Take it slow!)

Breakfast time! Chai + Chapati + Sweet Potatoes

Ngong - cooking with another voluntary

This is what I call: Lila - the Supercat!
