fuck off boys, fuck off girls, I'm in love with a giraffe! |
I don't know how to describe the last week. It's kinda difficult to pack all my experiences into one blogpost. They're so different and disultory.
So I'll just itemise them even though I know it's not the gentle way of writing..
Please excuse..
1. Wedding timeee!
Kenyan weddings are so biiig and nice!
It's funny because it was the second wedding I've been to and it was almost the same procedure, food and decoration like the one I've been to last year.
There must be a famous weddingplanner :D
Compare... Déjà-vu?

2. Disco, Disco, Party, Party
The thing of going partying with my cousins (doesn't matter which cousin/s) is, that the night never ends.
You wanna party? Okay we party. BUT there's no excuse for blacking out.
Once you decided to take part in spending a night with them there's no point of return.
You - are - not - going - home!
So this weekend we went to a BBQ at my cousins' cousins' house after the wedding...
This guys know how to mix nice drinks... The big soufrier seemed to refill itself automatically with some very yummi tasting drink called PUNCH :D
Remember: infinite refilling is always followed by endless drinking.
Okay, practically this theory doesn't work, but I swear somehow I've gone threw it by myself!
uhh this stuff is devilish...
Unfortunately the best moments are never pictured.. :(
In between different homeparties we went to a club/bar named Spoilers (true story, spoiled as hell..).I can't remember why people weren't dancing... But I have this slight feeling of knowing why.
Me and my cousins...
We KNOW HOW TO GET WASTED!
it's a family thing, right?
Blame the genes not the youth!
My cousin Waithira and I had promised her mum to go to church the next morning...
Guess if we made it?

Somehow the flowers here in Kenya seem to have way more stronger and prettier colours than the once I'm used to. They are sooo red, soo purple, soo orange,..,...! - No, I'm not taking any drugs. |
relaxing and a million disturbing flies don't match. improvising is mostly a good thing, the same way a mosquito net is. Problem solved |

6. Giraffes & Elephants & Germans
Yesterday two more (female) volunteers from Germany arrived.
I was happy that I was able to join their orientation day, which insisted a lot of joy!!

Seriously? Kenyans (try to) turn their ideas into gold. Doesn't matter how yuck they are. |
Nairobi my heart beats for you...
I was just wondering: WHO removed Johnny Walker?! :'(
To me he was the town's landmark for years...!!!!
I guess he kept on walking... We shall follow his suit..
